Oil on Canvas 36 x 36 A very unique portrait touch-up. About a year after delivering the portrait, the client called and explained that she had decided to let her hair go natural. And then on reflection, thought it would be nice if the portrait did the same. I was happy to go back repainted her hair and enjoy a very nice visit. And happily, I think I like the painting better now. Do you agree?

Oil on Canvas 20 x 24 CONTACT THE ARTIST ABOUT THIS ARTWORK We are very excited to announce that my painting, Duck Pass, has been accepted into the Booth Museum 2024 Winter/Spring Downtown Gallery Exhibit. The exhibit will run January 20th 2024 – May 1st 2024. Duck Pass is part of the longer Mammoth Crest trail, which provides expansive views of the Minarets and Silver Divide. The climb to the pass is quite scenic, with views of the lake basin and rugged peaks lining the valley. Just beyond the pass is an overlook, with panoramic views of Duck Lake cradled in a cirque of 11,000-ft peaks and ridges. Beyond Duck Pass, the trail drops down to the John Muir Trail. Moon Flowers will be featured in the Moonlight Serenade exhibit
California Art Club Gallery at The Old Mill San Marino, CA January 25th – May 19th 2024 https://www.californiaartclub.org/exhibition/moonlight-serenade/ I am always amazed that the Moon Flower can grow in the harsh environment of the desert. We often see them on our early morning walks when they are still wide open from the night before. They close for the heat of the day and then reopen after sunset in the cool of the evening. One of nature’s many gifts. FOREST EDGE -
